Kundalini Yoga is a style of Yoga that involves repetition of poses, breath work and mantra that are practiced together as part of a set, also known as a kriya.
The kriyas are designed to release Kundalini energy which otherwise lies latent at the base of the spine. As this energy is released, it has a number of effects on our mind, body and spiritual experiences. These may include clearing internal blockages, connecting to deeper layers of Self, and expanding states of consciousness.
In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore some of the foundational practices in Kundalini Yoga and learn a short kriya. Participants can expect a combination of movement, breathwork, meditation and mantra. This workshop is dynamic but suitable for all levels.
Space is limited. Pre-registration required.

Molly Culleton has been teacher and student of Yoga for more than 13 years. She completed her first 200-hour teacher training with 3rd Street Yoga Pittsburgh. She is currently working on her second 200-hour training, a trauma-informed Kundalini Yoga certification, with Yoga Farm Ithaca.
Molly’s personal experience with the transformative effects of Yoga led to a deep dive into Ayurveda, Yoga's sister science. She attended Sai Ayurvedic College in Miami, FL where she received her Doctor of Ayurveda degree in 2020. She currently owns and operates an Ayurvedic wellness clinic, Turiya Holistic Health, located in Washington, PA and serving clients in-person and virtually across the US and other countries.
Molly’s style of teaching integrates Hatha and Kundalini Yoga for a balanced practice of movement, breathwork and meditation. Her teaching is always informed by her background in Ayurveda so students can expect additional focus on seasonal transitions and how that can affect our internal state of health and well-being.
