The Yamas and Niyamas are foundational, timeless yogic teachings that not only guide our physical practice but also help us to understand the world around us and our place within it. During times of uncertainty or significant change, we can find solid ground in the wisdom of the Yamas and Niyamas:
Yamas ask us to explore our relationship with the world (social context) and are defined as nonviolence, truthfulness, non-stealing, non-excess and non-possessiveness.
Niyamas ask us to explore our relationship with ourselves and are defined as purity, contentment, self-discipline, self-study and surrender.
Explore the Yamas and Niyamas with Angelina and other yoga students in two virtual workshops. Once registered, you will receive a link to join the workshop via Zoom. The link will be sent 30 minutes before the start of the class. Workshops will combine theory, group discussion, journaling and action planning.
